MyCITE Pre-Audit Workshop The MyCITE Pre-Audit Workshop session was graced and presented by a highly qualified speaker Prof. Dr. Zuraidah Abd Manaf, on 8 June 2021. About 30 Editorial teams of MMU Press Journals (JETAP, IJORAS, IJCM, IJOMFA, IPBSS, and AJLP), library representatives, and the technical support team have attended this great workshop. The participants were brought to light on the criteria of a scholarly journal, and the evaluation rubrics of the MyCITE and ASI. The self-evaluation session has given the teams a glimpse of what quality and scholarly journals should be.

How to start a book chapter and Call for Book Chapters: Malaysian Society 5.0 Two speakers, Dr. Nazri bin Aziz (University Malaysia Terengganu) and Dr. Siti Zahariah binti Jamaluddin (Faculty of Law, Multimedia University) have been invited to deliver a talk on “How to Start a Book Chapter”, and “Call for Book Chapters” on 27 January 2021. The participants were exposed to various key elements to a successful book chapter. Among them are creating a chapter outline, building out the chapter’s structure, writing an eye-catching chapter title or headline, hooking readers with your chapter intro, expanding your story with main points, providing a recap that summarizes the chapter, and adding a Call-to-Action and transition to the next chapter. Sharing on Journal Journey: Getting Internationally Recognized Indexation About 60 Malaysia Journals’ Editorial teams from various universities attended a sharing session organized by MMU Press, on November 18, 2020. The Managing Editor of International Journal of Business and Society (IJBS), Associate Professor Dr. Evan Lau, has opened up the Pandora box by highlighting the importance of getting indexation for a scholarly journal, providing salient points for the editors on how to perform Journal’s Health Check based on internationally recognized indexation - SCOPUS, ASI, and WoS. Dr. Evan also shared with all the participants the indexation journey of the IJBS in Scopus and WoS.
