The Inaugural SITWE2024 Symposium Unfolds Global Insights and Innovation The first-ever International Symposium on Information Technology and Web Engineering (SITWE2024) took place virtually from 23 -24 October 2024. Organised by the Journal of Informatics and Web Engineering (JIWE) in collaboration with MMU Press and the Center for Digital Innovations (previously known as the Center for Web Engineering), SITWE2024 gathered global experts and researchers under the theme “Towards Diversity and Sustainability,” paving the way for impactful exchanges on the future of ICT. MMU Press Celebrates Global Family Business Day 2024 with Insightful Networking Session On 28 November 2024, MMU Press hosted a special networking session to celebrate Global Family Business Day 2024 at the Cyberjaya campus. Themed “Family Business Sustainability & Entrepreneurship Dialogue Series: Born into a Family Business—A Blessing or a Curse?”, the event was organised in collaboration with BG International Sdn. Bhd. and brought together family business leaders and entrepreneurs to explore sustainability, legacy, and entrepreneurship. The session featured three speakers who captivated the audience with their unique journeys and insights. MMU Press Holds Publishing Workshop in Cyberjaya and Melaka Campus
MMU Press held two Publishing Workshops for potential authors who are interested in kickstarting their writing projects and publishing with MMU Press. Entitled “A Guide to Publishing Your Book with MMU Press”, the first session was held for the Cyberjaya staff and the other for the Melaka staff. The Cyberjaya workshop was carried out at FCM Meeting Room B, Level 1 on 16 January 2024 from 2.30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Participants from Faculty of Creative Multimedia (FCM), Faculty of Computing and Informatics (FCI) and Faculty of Management were very engaged and interested to find out the best way to publish their ideas and findings.
