The 3rd International Symposium on Information Technology and Web Engineering (SITWE 2026) will be held on 29th -30th September 2026 in virtual mode. This symposium is being co-organized by MMU Press Journal of Informatics and Web Engineering and Center for Digital Innovations, Multimedia University.
SITWE 2026 aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of Information Technology and Web Technology. It also provides a premier interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns for the ICT domain.
Interested domains of the symposium include but are not limited to:
- Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (Machine learning algorithms, Data mining and knowledge discovery, Neural networks and deep learning, Recommender systems, and Intelligent agents)
- Software and Web Engineering (Software development, Requirements engineering, Semantic web, Ontology engineering, and Usability engineering)
- Information Systems and Applied Informatics (Databases, Information retrieval, Internet of Things (IoT), Mobile computing, Cloud computing, and Digital transformation applications)

Yang Shi
Associate Professor
Yangzhou University, China
Dr. Yang Shi is an Associate Professor at the College of Information and Artificial Intelligence, Yangzhou University, China. His research focuses on artificial intelligence, neural computing, human-machine systems, and robotics. He has published over 30 journal papers in top-tier journals (e.g., IEEE Transactions series) and 20+ conference papers, with an H-index of 20 and an i10-index of 25. He leads multiple projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and has received honors including international conference best paper awards. He is an IEEE Senior Member, serves as a reviewer for the NSFC and more than 30 SCI journals, and holds editorial and organizational roles in international journals and academic conferences.

Professor and Dean

Dr. Vishvjit Thakar is a Professor and Dean School of Engineering, Indrashil University, Gujarat, India. He has published more than 60 research papers and supervised 14 doctoral students. He has active research collaborations with Foreign University. He is a recipient of Award of Excellence from Kansas State University, USA and Pedagogical Innovation Award from Gujarat Technological University, India. He is a fellow of IETE, senior member of IEEE.

Dr.P. Kalyanasundaram
Associate Professor
K.S.R. College of Engineering, Anna University, India
Dr. P. Kalyanasundaram is a Professor in the Department of Information Technology at K.S.R. College of Engineering with over 26 years of academic and industry experience. His research interests include Wireless Sensor Networks, Computer Networks, Network Security, Industrial Automation, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning. Dr. Kalyanasundaram has served in various prestigious institutions, including Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences, Nandha Engineering College, and Bannari Amman Institute of Technology. He has published numerous research papers in reputed Scopus, SCI, and Web of Science indexed journals and conferences. He is also a reviewer for leading international journals published by Springer and Elsevier. He has organized and attended several national and international academic programs and holds memberships in professional bodies such as IEEE, ISTE, FIETE, IAENG, and ISSE.

Khyrina Airin Fariza Abu Samah is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences in Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Cawangan Melaka, Jasin Campus. Before joining UiTM, she had 13 years of working experience in the semiconductor industry. She has a Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Computer Science and Ph.D. in Information Technology. Her research interests are in artificial intelligence, algorithm analysis, machine learning, data science, optimization, and evacuation algorithms.
