Dr. Hairulnizam Mahdin is a Professor at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia. He has an extensive background in computer science and has been actively involved in many conferences internationally, serving in various capacities including chairman, program committee, general co chair, and vice chair. He has also served as the best paper award judge in several conferences. In addition to his involvement in conferences, Hairulnizam has also been an editor and co editor for numerous book chapters and guest edited many special issue journals. He has published over 100 journal and conference papers indexed by various indexes including WOS, Scopus, and Google Scholar. His research interests include the Internet of Things IoT data management, and artificial intelligence.

Dr. Vishvjit Thakar obtained BE in Electronics from Sardar Patel University, India Masters’ In Automatic Control And Robotics from The M S university of Baroda, India and PhDs in Systems And Controls from IIT Bombay, India. He is a senior member IEEE, He is a member of Aerospace and Electronics Society of IEEE, Fellow IETE, Life Member IE(I), Life Member ISTE. He has been conferred upon the various awards like Award of excellence from Kansas State University, USA, Award of Merit from IEEE Signal Processing Society, USA, Pedagogical Innovation award from GTU, India. He has supervised 13 Ph.D students. He has published 56 papers in various conferences and journals. He has organized several national and international programs. He also served as a key note speaker ,session chair, reviewer for various conferences. Dr. Thakar has active collaborations with universities in USA,UK, Canada, Japan and Malaysia.
Prof. Dr. Chien-Sing Lee

Coming from a pure science background, local and international mentors, Fulbright and the IEEE provided opportunities for interdisciplinary research to Dr. Lee. An IEEE senior member since 2007, she learnt the Learning Sciences and Interactive Computing from Lehigh University, and Georgia Tech, USA, on a Fulbright Visiting Scholar Fellowship, in 2008/2009, while with Multimedia University (1997-2011). In 2009, the JCI (M) awarded her the Ten Young Outstanding Malaysian (Science & Technology Development). Overseas exposure as Faculty in National Central University, Taiwan, (2011-2013), complemented JICA’s. Two years in the Faculty of Creative Industries, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, augmented design/computing concepts. She is back in computing in Sunway University’s Department of Computing and Information Systems (renamed Department of Smart Computing and Cyber Resilience beginning January 1, 2025).


Dr. Ji-Jian Chin

Dr. Ji-Jian Chin graduated from Campbell University with a Bachelor of Science Majoring in Computer Science and Computational Mathematics, earning a rank of Magna Cum Laude. Pursuing his postgraduate studies, he took his Master of Engineering Science and later on his P.h.D. at Multimedia University, specializing in cryptography. He earned an early completion for his doctoral studies as well as a Best Thesis Award in I.T. for his thesis.
In his research, Ji Jian has spent more than a decade researching theoretical public key cryptography, specializing in entity and message authentication schemes such as identification and digital signature schemes, with particular interest in designing schemes that do not require certificates. Eager to bridge the gap between theoretical cryptography and practical computer security, Ji Jian currently focuses his research interests on development and implementation projects such as searchable symmetric encryption and access-control prototypes using mobile devices.

Wahyudi Hasbi is a Research Professor/Head of Research Center for Satellite Technology, Research Organization for Aeronautics & Space,, National Research & Innovation Agency (BRIN), specialising in Satellite systems, microsatellite, communications satellites and satellite payloads. His is active in satellite workshops and seminars held at several universities & institutions in Indonesia and also abroad and has published more than 65 papers in Journals & conference proceedings and also papers in 2 international books. He is the Advisory Board Chair of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Indonesia Section 2022-2024. He is also the recipient of the Satyalancana Wirakarya award from the President of the Republic of Indonesia, who was specifically awarded the “Award for his services (in designing and satellite development) in giving great service to the state and nation of Indonesia, so that it can be used as an example for others.”


Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gan Kok Beng

Dr. Kok Beng, Gan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical, Electronic & Systems Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. He is also the international coordinator for undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia managing international dual degree programs. He is also a professional consultant for MIMOS Berhad in artificial intelligence for industry application and domain expert in Certified HRDC Trainer. He received his Bachelor of Science in Material Physics with Honours from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2001. He conferred a PhD in Electrical, Electronic & System Engineering from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2009. He was an engineer in the field of electronic manufacturing services and original design manufacturing before venturing into academic research in 2005. He specializes in embedded systems and artificial intelligent in healthcare. His current research interests are artificial intelligence in healthcare, embedded systems & signal processing for medical application and biomechanics & human motion analysis.
Dr. Zheng Feei Ma

Dr. Zheng Feei Ma is a Senior Lecturer in the College of Health, Science and Society at the University of the West of England (UWE), Bristol, UK, specialising in public health nutrition, epidemiology and entrepreneurship within public health. His research and entrepreneurial initiatives focus on developing new health services, promoting healthier behaviours, and innovating within digital health sustainable and social enterprises. Dr. Ma investigates and leverages the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) for sustainable solutions in these areas to enhance effectiveness and scalability. Dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship and innovation in public health, he aims to build practical, scalable, and innovative public health enterprises that significantly impact community health and sustainability. He has been listed in the World’s Top 2% Scientists List for four consecutive years (2021-2024) by Stanford University.
Born and raised in Kelantan, Malaysia, he gained his BSc (Hons) from Universiti Malaysia Sabah, a MSc (MedSci) from the University of Glasgow, a Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) in Teaching and Supporting Learning in Higher Education from the University of Liverpool, and a PhD from the University of Otago. He began his academic career at the University of Otago in New Zealand and went on to positions at Universiti Sains Malaysia in Malaysia and Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University in China, before taking up his current position at UWE, UK. He brings more than 8 years of research and teaching experience (spanning across the UK, China, Malaysia and New Zealand) to the role.


Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nik Norma binti Nik Hasan, PhD

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nik Norma binti Nik Hasan specializes in science and environmental journalism. She is an Associate Professor at the School of Communication, Universiti Sains Malaysia. Nik pursued her PhD in Science Journalism at the School of Political Science and Journalism, University of Canterbury, New Zealand, where she learned that a true environmental researcher must be on the ground, not confined to an office. Before joining USM, she worked with the United Nations on environmental projects focusing on wetlands conservation in the Asia-Pacific region as an environmental technical writer. In 2020, Nik consulted for the Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD) on developing a risk communication module for media staff reporting on health risks until 2021, as well as for the Malaysian Press Institute on the 2020 Series of Workshops on Effective Reporting on Climate Change Adaptation. Nik has published numerous journal articles and secured grants focusing on environmental risk communication. Since 2013, she has served as a visiting scholar at various universities in Japan, Sweden, Germany, Indonesia, China, and Brunei. In 2025, she was appointed as an Adjunct Professor at the State University of Malang, Indonesia, and as an external examiner at Universiti Brunei Darussalam. Nik is also an avid diver.
Dr. Furrakh Abbas

Dr. Furrakh Abbas is currently serving as Assistant Professor in Centre for Languages and Translation Studies (CeLTS), Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad (Pakistan). CeLTS is actively engaged in developing large language models in the indigenous languages of Pakistan by integrating the latest AI approaches in language studies. We, at CeLTS, endeavour towards revitalizing and empowering national and regional languages of Pakistan by developing resources and expediting localization.
Dr. Abbas holds two doctoral degrees; first PhD in Linguistics is from University of Management and Technology, Pakistan while his second PhD in Applied Linguistics is from University Utara Malaysia. Dr. Abbas has remained associated as an academician with prestigious universities and institutes in countries like Pakistan, Malaysia, and Thailand. The diverse cultural groups with whom Dr. Abbas has worked with, has helped him command the differences of group dynamics. His research interests include Integrating AI approaches in Language Maintenance and Shift, Language Planning and Policy, Language documentation and other aspects of Applied Linguistics. Currently he is working, alongwith his peers, in developing AI based Linguistic systems in Urdu, Saraiki and Punjabi languages.


Prof. Dr. Henrik Andersen

Dr. Henrik Andersen is Associate Professor and Director of CBS Law at Copenhagen Business School. He holds a PhD in law (2008) with a thesis on EU anti-dumping measures and WTO law. His research focuses on international economic law, climate change law, the multilevel rule of law, and EU–China trade relations. Currently, his work addresses geopolitical challenges, emphasizing the importance of a robust rule of law within the EU and strategic competition with the U.S. and China.
Dr. Andersen combines legal analysis with interdisciplinary approaches, drawing on transaction cost theory, trade and management theory, and international relations. He has published in leading international journals and reviewed for academic and public funding institutions. He has lectured globally on trade law, international economic governance, and the rule of law, and has held visiting positions at the European University Institute, City University of Hong Kong, Westminster University, and UCLAN, Cyprus.
Dr. Andersen is a member of the European Law Institute (ELI), where he contributed to the ELI-Mount Scopus project on judicial independence and serves as a reporter for the “Climate Justice” initiative. He is also an observer with the Association of European Administrative Judges (AEAJ), contributing on climate law issues.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wan-Ju Yeh

Professor Wan-Ju Yeh received her doctorate in law (Dr. iur.) from the University of Göttingen, Germany, and holds LL.M. and LL.B. degrees from Regensburg, NCKU, and National Chengchi University. Her research focuses on civil law, engineering contract law, public procurement, real estate regulation, and legal applications of data science and AI.
She teaches courses on civil law, torts, property, contract law with case analysis, and technology and data in legal practice. In addition to her academic work, Professor Yeh actively contributes to institutional governance and interdisciplinary collaboration. She currently serves as Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Deputy Executive Secretary of the Gender Equity Education Committee at NCKU. She is also affiliated with several university research centers and serves as a reviewer on the human research ethics committee.
Professor Yeh’s work integrates legal theory, empirical methods, and digital innovation—offering a timely perspective on law’s evolving role in a data-driven, interdisciplinary world.

Her career spans roles as a lecturer, researcher, and academic leader across prominent Malaysian universities, including Open University Malaysia, Geomatika University Malaysia, and University of Malaya Wales. She also served as a research consultant for Malaysia’s Department of Skills Development, contributing to the Occupational Framework by defining key responsibilities, developing role descriptions, identifying critical job titles, and aligning them with technological and industry trends to build a future-ready workforce. Currently, Dr. Nor Fairuz Syazana is the Deputy Dean at City Graduate School, City University Malaysia.
