Your article is required to be:

1. 1. Submitted within 17^th Nov 2025 – 8^th Feb 2026 to MMU Press journals (https://journals.mmupress.com).
   2. Eligible for award consideration only if it successfully undergoes revision and is accepted for publication.
   3. Between 4,500 and 7,000 words in length (preferably).
   4. A comprehensive research articles that provide in-depth analysis and substantial findings (preferably).
   5. For AJLP, submissions in the form of legislative updates or case commentaries are not eligible for this competition.
   6. For JCLC, only submissions under the theme “AI and Technologies in Language and Communication” are eligible for this competition.
   7. Original and never been published before or under consideration for publication in any ISSN/ ISBN/ eISSN/ eISBN registered publication.
   8. Prepared according to MMU Press journals’ guidelines, downloadable from their website.
   9. Written in English, original, unpublished, and must not infringe the intellectual property, privacy and other rights of any third party.
   10. To promote global diversity, authors are encouraged to include cross-country collaborators; any collaboration will be considered as part of the evaluation.
   11. By participating in the competition, you are agreeing to publish your article in MMU Press journals, subject to acceptance for publication after peer review and revisions.
   12. Authorship changes after acceptance are allowed only in exceptional circumstances, subject to the Editor’s approval

The prizes are awarded for each category (open, postgraduate, undergraduate), and for each MMU Press journal. The prizes consist of the following:

Three categories:

✓ Open category (i.e. academic, researcher, post-doctoral, students, others)
✓ Postgraduate category (first author currently registered as PG student in higher education institution)
✓ Undergraduate category (first author currently registered as UG student in higher education institution)

The organising committee has the right to make the final decision of the prizes.

Note: First author will be the recipient of the award.
